Iver Arnegard's nonfiction, fiction, and poetry have appeared in the North American Review, The Missouri Review, Gulf Coast, Cimarron Review, various antholgies, and elsewhere. His book, Whip & Spur, was published by Gold Line Press after winning their fiction competition. He's taught at universities all over the world, worked as a farmer and ranch hand, wilderness guide, waiter, dishwasher, construction worker and woodcutter. He currently teaches creative writing at the University of Alaska.
